Raoul was responsible for leading the consortium which created and subsequently listed CIG. Prior to this Raoul worked in various corporate roles with Bidvest, Rebhold, Rebserve and Mvelaphanda, culminating in his appointment as COO at Rebserve and Mvelaphanda.

Ivor was instrumental in assisting with the listing of CIG in 2007. In 1993 he completed his articles with Ernst & Young and became financial director at Hallmark Hemdon Proprietary Limited, before leaving in 2000 to join M&IC Distributors Proprietary Limited, a subsidiary of Brandcorp Holdings Limited.

D.C. began his career as an engineer at Motorola and Lockheed Martin. After receiving his MBA he worked at McKinsey & Company consulting with US and African companies in the logistics, utilities, construction and manufacturing sectors.

As CEO, Wilfred is responsible for overseeing initiatives in power projects at CIGenCo. He has over 20 years’ experience in the electric power industry, with an outstanding track record in developing these opportunities in emerging markets.

Prior to joining the CIG team he served in high level capacities in the Jamaican national public utility as well as the chief technical officer of an independent power producer in Jamaica.

Pius has over 20 years’ experience in the power industry in the UK and African utilities. Previously he was Chairman of the Southern African Power Pool and CEO of the Swazi Electricity Company. He also served on the board of the Mozambique Transmission Company ( Motraco).

Wouter joined CIG in 2017, having spent 20 years as a seasoned investment banker at RMB covering various specialty fields including aviation and transportation. He was also Structured Finance Head for Bombardier Aerospace for 3 years prior to joining CIG.

Jeremy joined CIG in 2016. In 2011, he completed his articles at Deloitte in the Financial Services Division. In 2012, following secondment to the Deloitte New York office, he returned to South Africa to join the Blue Label Telecoms Group in various roles.

After 10 years of teaching high school history, Tamara completed her MBA and moved into consulting with the majority of that time been spent at Accenture where she led the Global organisation design capability and led the Talent and Organisational Performance (T&OP) in South Africa. While at Accenture Tamara was seconded to work on projects in London, Jakarta and Dubai.
