Ivor was instrumental in assisting with the listing of CIG in 2007. In 1993 he completed his articles with Ernst & Young and became financial director at Hallmark Hemdon Proprietary Limited, before leaving in 2000 to join M&IC Distributors Proprietary Limited, a subsidiary of Brandcorp Holdings Limited.

D.C. began his career as an engineer at Motorola and Lockheed Martin. After receiving his MBA he worked at McKinsey & Company consulting with US and African companies in the logistics, utilities, construction and manufacturing sectors.
Wilfred Bassaragh

As CEO, Wilfred is responsible for overseeing initiatives in power projects at CIGenCo. He has over 20 years’ experience in the electric power industry, with an outstanding track record in developing these opportunities in emerging markets.
Prior to joining the CIG team he served in high level capacities in the Jamaican national public utility as well as the chief technical officer of an independent power producer in Jamaica.

David has over 20 years’ experience in the power and electrical industry. He previously worked for Eskom before joining CONCO in 1996.

Jannie has over 17 years’ experience in the aggregates industries. He has previously served as President of the Institute of Quarrying Southern Africa and Branch Chairman of the Aggregate and Stone Producers Association of South Africa.

Pius has over 20 years’ experience in the power industry in the UK and African utilities. Previously he was Chairman of the Southern African Power Pool and CEO of the Swazi Electricity Company. He also served on the board of the Mozambique Transmission Company ( Motraco).
